Greetings:
Although I don't see this device on the uvc device list, it's clearly
supported and shows it's a UVC device:
lsusb -d 046d:082c -v | grep "14 Video"
Couldn't open device, some information will be missing
bFunctionClass 14 Video
bInterfaceClass 14 Video
bInterfaceClass 14 Video

bInterfaceClass 14 Video
My problem is that if I'm close to the camera, with cheese or other
similar programs, the quality is GREAT. Once I move about two feet
away, where I sit normally at my keyboard, the focus gets horrible.
There is no manual focus on it.
Also, guvcview segfaults:
checking muxed H264 format support
device doesn't seem to support uvc H264 (0)
checking format: MJPG
VIDIOC_G_COMP:: Inappropriate ioctl for device
fps is set to 1/24
drawing controls
--
Fedora 21, 64bit
Any thoughts?
