[linux-uvc-devel] lenovo laptop's cam

Hello,

Lenovo always counted as A+ linux support hardware but I've had this laptop
for more than a year now and the webcam isn't working.

If any developer has some free time and or is willing to take a look, I'd
be more than happy to provide all the relevant debug info.

By any chance, is your camera the Acer Integrated Camera identified by
5986:055a?

It is discussed in this bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/hwe-next/+bug/1433906 That thread also
links back to a patch on this mailing list.

I'm expecting the patch to arrive in upstream Linus' tree during the
merge window that's currently open, and will announce on this mailing
list and on Launchpad if and when that happens.
