Good day
I have laptop Acer Aspire 5630 and the mint dont find my camera Logitech
orbicam
I, going in site of Logitech and they dont have drivers for Linux generaly
Please help because i need to run the Skype and i need the camera

my machine is
Operating System : Linux mint cinnamon 64-bit
Cinnamon Version : 2.0.14
Linux Kernel : 3.11.0-12-generic
Processor : Intel Core 2 CPU T5500 @ 1.66GHz x2
Memory : 2.9 GiB
Hard Drive : 53.4 GB
Graphics Card : NVIDIA Corporation G72M [Quadro NVS 110M/GeForce 7300]

the problem is in Linux mint dont find the camera

Aspire-lx ~ $ lsusb

This dont find

i m going in http://www.ideasonboard.org/uvc/ and i find this

and i go to install the driver LINUX UVC DRIVER with these commands

sudo apt-get install git
git clone git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kern ... ux-2.6.git
<git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git>
uvcvideo
git remote add uvcvideo git://linuxtv.org/pinchartl/uvcvideo.git
git remote update
git checkout -b uvcvideo-master uvcvideo/uvcvideo-next

starting to iinstall but the 2 last commands dont work

i install the Cheese
sudo apt-get install cheese

but dont find any camera

Hi.
Are you sure the camera is connected/enabled? You should probably
check your bios settings first.
No camera device is listed on the lsusb output.
046d:c52f is a optical mouse:

You also don't need to install uvcvideo, it's already available in the kernel.
