Hi all,

Is still image supported by uvcvideo driver?
I've been looking for this feature to be implemented for months and
casually today I've found this repo in github with still image support for
2.6 kernels.

do you mean this link?
https://github.com/yangh/uvcvideo

It has interesting description and good point, it will be interesting to
implement it other way. Insead of doing all over one /dev/video0
interfaces, add second /dev/photo0... or some thing like this.

Hi all

I'm the author of that repo.

Yes, I agree with Oleksij, it shoul be done in a separated sub dev, as I
mentioned it in the description.

Recently, I've ported the old implementation to 3.2 kernel. but Have no
plan to implement it in new way.
